GEDI Signs Several Contracts for Digital Infrastructure Construction Projects in Hong Kong and Macao

Recently, GEDI has successively signed contracts for five consulting and survey-design projects: four in Hong Kong (an AI-driven 3D real-world model semantic segmentation platform, 3D pedestrian network data augmentation services, East Lamma Channel submarine cable geophysical exploration and depth detection, data maintenance services for the underground utility information system), and one in Macao (an AI recognition solution for Macao substations). These projects provide comprehensive support for the development of digital infrastructure in Hong Kong and Macao.

In Hong Kong, GEDI is focusing on the development of an AI-driven 3D real-world model semantic segmentation platform, 3D pedestrian network data augmentation, maintenance of underground utility information systems, and safety inspections of submarine cables, to further strengthen the data foundation for Hong Kong's smart city development. In Macao, GEDI has introduced AI image recognition technology into substation operations and maintenance, enhancing the level of smart management of the local power grid through automated inspection solutions.

In recent years, GEDI has continued to provide high-value, diversified services to Hong Kong and Macao. Its service areas have gradually expanded from traditional energy and power construction to smart energy and smart city development sectors, including municipal digital twins, engineering safety supervision, urban map updates, marine geophysical surveys, and railway engineering consulting. GEDI's technical capabilities and management standards have been widely recognized by various sectors in Hong Kong and Macao.
