On June 30, the Guangdong Huadian Huizhou Dongjiang Gas Turbine Thermal Power Project, designed and surveyed by GEDI, was fully completed and put into operation.
The project features two 535 MW F-class improved gas-steam combined cycle cogeneration units, equipped with M701F5 heavy-duty gas turbines that boast a high localization rate. The output and efficiency of these units are among the highest in the F-class gas turbine category. Additionally, through optimized system design, comprehensive cascade utilization of energy is achieved, with an overall energy utilization efficiency of up to 75.88% and environmental protection indicators reaching international first-class standards.
Once completed, the project is expected to annually generate about 3.266 billion kWh of electricity, provide around 3.8966 million GJ of heating supply, and deliver about 1.7179 million GJ of cooling supply. It offers centralized heating and cooling services to High-tech Industrial Park users. This project will enhance the power support capacity of Huizhou's power grid and play a significant role in optimizing Guangdong Province's energy consumption structure while contributing to green and low-carbon development.
