On October 15, the China Resources Haifeng 2×1000 MW Expansion Project, surveyed and designed by GEDI, was fully completed and put into operation.

The project is a large-scale backbone coal-fired power plant in Guangdong Province, with two 1000MW ultra-supercritical secondary reheat coal-fired units. Upon completion, the project will add over 10.5 billion kWh of annual power generation, becoming an important supporting and peaking power source in Guangdong Province, significantly enhancing power supply reliability. It will provide strong momentum for the new round of rapid development in the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone and offer solid support for the safe and stable energy supply in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
