Recently, GEDI won the bid for the survey and design of the Mangrove Wetland Ecological Restoration and Management Phase II Project in the Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, contributing to Guangdong's ecological construction.

The mangrove wetland ecological restoration will be carried out by adopting the mangrove planting-breeding coupling model for a total ecological restoration area of about 1459.79 hectares, including 673.5 hectares of mangrove planting. Our work covers the determination of afforestation area, elevation (including road) retrofit of afforestation beach, waterway retrofit, mangrove species selection, mangrove planting and post-management.
