Recently, Zhuhai Hongta Renheng's 12MW/24MWh industrial and commercial energy storage project, which was constructed by GEDI as the EPC contractor, was completed and put into operation.

Located in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, the energy storage system consists of 4 units, which are equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries and arranged in outdoor prefabricated cabins. It is compatible with voltage levels of 6 kV and 10 kV, facilitating future relocation. It also features a high level of intelligence, capable of collecting data from the energy storage power station in an all-around way, uploading it to the cloud, and monitoring the electricity load in the factory area in real time.

After being put into operation, by implementing the optimal charging and discharging strategy, this project can flexibly respond to power grid load fluctuations, and realize electricity storage during off-peak hours and output during peak hours. This will effectively reduce operating costs, and the electricity saving revenue during the operation period will exceed RMB 100 million, which provides a vivid practice for exploring a new mode of combining industry with finance and promoting the development of industrial and commercial energy storage.
