Labrador 160MW Photovoltaic Project Commenced in the Philippines

On May 15, the Labrador 160MW Photovoltaic Project in the Philippines, led by China Energy Engineering Group Guangzhou Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (GEDI) as the EPC contractor, witnessed its groundbreaking ceremony, which officially marked the commencement of the project.

Upon completion, the project is expected to generate approximately 230 million kWh of clean electricity annually. The electricity will be transmitted through double-circuit transmission lines to the 500kV Bolo Substation, a substation constructed by GEDI under the EPC contract, to further enhance the local green energy supply, improve the energy structure, provide new engineering practices for the development of the renewable energy industry in the Philippines, and make a significant contribution to achieving the country's 2030 renewable energy development goals.‍
