With the successive operation of temporary cable lines for 220kV Shenxu Line A and 220kV Yuanbo Neighboring Line, Phase I of the line relocation project of Clean Energy Transmission System (CETS), which was constructed by GEDI as the EPC Contractor, has been successfully completed.

This is a major milestone to ensure smooth progress of the capacity expansion and renovation project for strengthening the dedicated clean energy line (Shenzhen section and cross-boundary section of 400kV CETS). It will assist in the grid structure construction for transmitting clean power to Hong Kong from power station including Daya Bay NPS, and play a positive role in China Southern Power Grid's continued provision of clean, efficient and reliable power to Hong Kong, satisfying Hong Kong's power supply and improving the energy structure.
