Shenzhen Guangming Power Station Project Completed

On December 29, Guangming Power Station Project designed and surveyed by GEDI was fully completed and put into operation.

Three H-class combined-cycle gas-steam turbine units are constructed in this phase, with a total capacity of approximately 2000 MW. The project marks the first adoption of H-class 9HA.01 single-shaft gas turbine in China, reaching a world-leading efficiency level.

Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 6 billion kWh of electricity annually. This will significantly enhance Guangdong Province's power supply reliability and system peaking capability, while effectively meeting the electricity load development needs of the central and western regions of Shenzhen. It will also play a crucial role in improving the safety and reliability of the regional power grid, assisting Shenzhen in achieving its carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, and promoting the development of a clean and green energy system in the Greater Bay Area.
