On October 7, GEDI received a notice from the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) of the Hong Kong SAR Government, learning that it has won the bid for the first compilation project of the Code of Practice for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power Generation System in Hong Kong.

To foster the orderly development of the hydrogen energy industry in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong SAR Government issued the Hong Kong Hydrogen Energy Development Strategy in June this year. This strategy clearly highlights the necessity of improving regulations and standards related to the hydrogen energy industry, with the goal of promoting Hong Kong to become a national demonstration base for hydrogen energy development. The Code of Practice aims to establish a comprehensive operation and practical specification for hydrogen fuel cell power generation system in Hong Kong, thereby promoting the safe application and industrial development of hydrogen cell technology in Hong Kong.
